Our Village is Preparing for Disasters Training Took Place in Yarıköy

The educational activities conducted by the Village University in villages continued on October 22, 2025, in Burdur's Yarıköy Village. In the meeting held with the participation of the villagers, an educational program titled "Our Village is Preparing for Disaster" was organized.

In the training given by Dr. Lecturer Murat Abdulgani KUŞ, topics such as pre-disaster preparation, emergency planning, first aid, and the importance of solidarity after a disaster were discussed. Practical exercises were conducted with the participation of volunteer students, allowing the villagers to experience what needs to be done during a disaster.

We thank Yarıköy Village Headman Mr. Muzaffer Mukadder Macit, Council Member Mr. Hasan Cevahir, and all the villagers who participated with interest in the training for their contributions to the realization of the event.
