Within the Scope of the Village University, a Dental Screening Event was Held in Yarışlı Village

Village coffeehouses filled for health this time! Students from MAKÜ Faculty of Dentistry conducted dental screenings and raised awareness about oral health for the villagers as part of the “Village University” project.

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) added a new one to its community contribution efforts by conducting dental screenings in Düğer village as part of the “Village University” project under the healthy teeth event.

During the event, which was attended by faculty members and students from MAKÜ Faculty of Dentistry, oral and dental health screenings were conducted for the villagers. During the screening, information was provided to the citizens on topics such as oral and dental care, tooth brushing habits, and the use of dental prostheses.

At the event held in Düğer village coffeehouse, Dr. Lecturer Süleyman Faki from MAKÜ Faculty of Dentistry provided information to the participants about the importance of oral health. Faculty students conducted routine screenings and referred individuals with identified dental problems to the faculty.

The villagers expressed their satisfaction with this event, which was both informative and socially engaging.
