The Büyükbaş Hayvancılık Eğitimi organized in Yarıköy within the scope of Köy Üniversitesi offered a rich learning experience to the producers in the region with both theoretical and practical aspects. The training, conducted with the aim of developing local livestock farming, spreading sustainable production methods, and empowering producers with up-to-date information, was completed with intense participation.
The expert of the training, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çağrı KARAKURUM, conveyed valuable information on many topics such as proper care in cattle breeding, feeding, herd management, early diagnosis of diseases, productivity enhancement techniques, and new methods used in modern livestock farming. Throughout the training, participants had the opportunity to ask questions they were curious about, and practical solutions to problems encountered in daily practices were developed thanks to the mutual question-and-answer section.
At the end of the program, participation certificates were presented to all participants. This event, organized with the Köy Üniversitesi approach, was an important step that will contribute to conducting livestock farming in Yarıköy more consciously, more efficiently, and more sustainably.
