Within the scope of Village University studies, the training titled “Change with Women's Power: Sustainable Development through Cooperatives and Entrepreneurship” was given to women in Aziziye Village by Dr. Lecturer Ömer ÇATAL. The program, hosted by Aziziye Village Headman Ali Kozak, aimed to support the more active participation of women in the village in economic and social life.
In the training, Dr. Çatal shared basic information about the importance of women organizing through cooperatives, entrepreneurship opportunities in rural areas, and how sustainable development can be possible locally. Participants gained awareness about discovering their own potential, creating business ideas, and contributing to the village economy by using the power of solidarity.
The program, enriched with mutual questions and answers, was followed with interest by the women of Aziziye Village and was expressed to be inspiring. This work contributed to strengthening women-focused development steps in the village. We extend our thanks to the women who participated.
