Village University Conducted Field Research in Taşkapı and Kayaaltı Villages

Within the framework of the field studies conducted under the Village University, on-site observations and examinations were carried out in the villages of Taşkapı and Kayaaltı. During these studies, the demographic structure, daily life dynamics, forms of social interaction, and prominent economic activity areas of both villages were evaluated; existing potentials and areas that can be developed were addressed with a holistic perspective. The open and sincere contributions of the village residents significantly contributed to the shaping of the findings in a field-based and realistic manner. We sincerely thank all the residents of Taşkapı and Kayaaltı villages for their hospitality and sharing; and to the Headman of Taşkapı Village, Mr. İsmail Varol, and the Deputy Headman of Kayaaltı Village, Mr. Hüseyin Karaçam, for their support and cooperation in the studies.
